Graduated with honors in Electronic Engineering, he boasts over forty years of experience in the ICT sector, gained across major industrial groups, consulting activities, and executive roles. A Senior ICT Advisor since 2019, he is co‑founder of DigiAdvisors.
Throughout his career, he has held significant managerial positions within the TIM/Telecom Italia Group, including CEO of TN Fiber and CTO of Flash Fiber, contributing directly to the extensive process of digital transformation of networks and services.
In this capacity, he officially represented the TIM/Telecom Italia Group in institutional settings, building strong relationships with top‑level public and private stakeholders, including at the international level.
In 2018, he was awarded the Stella al Merito del Lavoro.

Extensive expertise in the ICT sector, with a particular focus on network architectures, system design, traffic analysis and forecasting, as well as the development and management of IT platforms.

He has assisted clients in the assessment of synergies for FTTH networks, in copper network decommissioning plans with analysis of economic and energy benefits, in strategic comparisons of FWA vs FTTH vs FTTC, in supporting PNRR tenders, and in M&A transactions.
He served as CTO and CIO of Flash Fiber, a TIM–Fastweb joint venture established to deploy the FTTH access network in major Italian cities.
He was CEO of TN Fiber, a TIM Group company tasked with developing and providing operators with fiber‑optic infrastructure and deployment assets in the Province of Trento.
For many years, he led Network Planning at TIM/Telecom Italia, making a significant contribution to the strategic decisions guiding infrastructure evolution.
Within the TIM/Telecom Italia Group, he also held several managerial positions both in technological areas and in Administration and Management Control, supporting the transition from traditional telephony to ultrabroadband networks.
He has carried out teaching activities in Mathematics, Electrical Communications, and Radio Links at the Military School of Pratica di Mare.

He graduated with honors in Electronic Engineering from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
With over 40 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, he has held several leadership roles within TIM/Telecom Italia, including serving as Director of TILAB.
He has been actively involved in numerous international standardization groups, serving as Chairman for several of them, including the NGMN (Next Generation Mobile Networks Alliance).
He served on the Board of Directors of C.R.I.A.I. – the Campania Research Consortium for Computer Science and Industrial Automation – and is currently a member of the Executive Board of Quadrato della Radio, an organization dedicated to the development and advancement of Telecommunications in Italy.
He is a Co‑founder of DigiAdvisors.

At TIM/Telecom Italia, he held several leadership roles, most notably serving as Head of the Milan Area for the management and coordination of network operations.
He served as Head of Global Network, overseeing the development and operational activities of the networks of Tim Brasil, Telecom Argentina, and Telecom Italia’s affiliated companies in Europe (France, Germany, the Netherlands).
He was Director of TILAB, Telecom Italia’s Research, Innovation, and Engineering center, which at the time comprised 1,150 staff members.
He also served as Head of ICT Risk Management, responsible for planning and controlling ICT risk‑management activities.
